Exclusive CD release featuring great but unknown tunes by the legendary quintet around pianist Cees Slinger, pulled from promotional vinyl EPs, radio programmes, unreleased schellack records or flexi discs. Lost chapter of European jazz history, restaurated from original records and tapes, including lost compositions by Cees Smal aswell as nice versions of classics like Sonny Rollins'Oleo', Horace Silver's 'Sister Sadie' or Oscar Pettiford's 'Montmartre Blues'. Comes in digipack with unreleased old photos and new liner notes by Joop De Roo, Hilde Slinger and others.
